Divisionals Results

Wow, we had great representation at the Divisionals meet. Sending a big kudos to all our awesome divers. Notably, we had the following All Stars:

• Kyle came in first for freshman boys
• ZZ took second in the junior girls competition
• Maya is an All Star alternate with a 4th place in freshman girls

Divisional Divers: Please note that lightning is striking twice, there is a new opportunity to order a Divisionals t shirt. Please contact me as soon as possible with your order and I will relay it to the powers that be.

All Stars

I'm sure everyone joins me in congratulating our All Star Divers and wishes them well at the meet next Sunday. The remainder of our shortened practice schedule is for All Stars only, cheering sections notwithstanding. 

The Divies

I hope everyone had a great time, despite the unrelenting heat, at our awards ceremony Sunday night. In addition to those who helped us get points for meets and were tops in the age groups, I want to point out the following special awards. These divers went a long way toward making dive team more fun for all of us.

• Coaches Award: Miles Stadtler and ZZ Arnic
• Most Improved: Penelope Lawler
• Jakabcin Award: Kyle Schutt
  

And Finally

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to work with everyone as the Dive Representative these three years. I am very appreciative of all the volunteers, coaches, and divers who go the extra mile. Thanks especially to Dana Chodos and Jean LaFauci Schutt, who will be taking over as Co-Reps next year.
