Dive Families,

Well, we finished the regular part of the season. Take a big breath and pat yourself on the back (maybe not at the same time). I have just a few topics to get us through the after-party.

Divisionals

Divers selected for Divisionals should be ready to compete this Sunday. We have an unusual dive schedule until then, with opportunities to dive at Lakeview --  the Divisional host site. I am attaching a graphic of the tentative schedule. Please be aware that these meets occasionally go faster than expected so it's a good idea to be a bit early. We have been asked to help supply table workers for this event (volunteers work in half day shifts) so please let me know soon if you can help out by email: [email protected]

Awards

I just got confirmation from our supplier that I can get our trophies completed by this weekend so I am happy to officially announce that we will have the 2022 SHBR Dive Awards (or the "Divies") Ceremony at the SHBR front gazebo at 6:30 this Sunday, June 24. As tradition dictates, the divers tend to dress up so we can take a team photo at the end of the night. We like to take this time to recognize the kids who have worked hard all season. I should be able to supply water and ice pops (after the photo).
