Lots of things in the works, so sending a quick update at the end of the week.

Meet Last Night

I was really happy with the turnout for the B Meet and Exhibition last night. We saw a lot of divers show a lot of guts by trying out dives that many had not done before a crowd of people (let alone judges) before. All the divers deserve a big congratulations. 

Seniors

We need senior bios for our divers who have graduated this year. I am attaching some samples. These will be added to the Divisionals program - whether or not they are diving in Divisionals. We also want to use this info for our last home meet (see below) so please send something in by Tuesday 6/12 at noon or we will make one up for you.

Last Home Meet

Our last home meet is next Tuesday. It is also our last chance to recognize our seniors, who will be "graduating" from the dive program. We will read each graduating senior's bio just before the meet.

If that isn't enough, it will also be Hawaiian night. Feel free to wear your best grass skirt, aloha shirt, lei, etc. We have some Hawaiian decorations for the pool to help put us in the mood. I've got the ice pops in the freezer already, hopefully they will be solid and not liquid. I just opened up the meet for volunteers: https://shbrdive.swimtopia.com/swim_meets

Divisionals

We will be notifying the divers who qualified for Divisionals by this Monday. The meet will be at 9:00 am on Sunday July 24 at Lakeview. Once we have the list out, please let us know if you cannot attend so we can activate alternates.

Practice Updates

Please note our afternoon practice for Fun Fridays is at the special hour of 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Due to the a rigid practice scheduled for the Wally Martin meet this Sunday, we will not have practice tomorrow, Saturday June 9, as our coaching staff will be at Oak Marr for the Wally Martin practices.
