Dive Families,

We are going to hold a short meet and greet session at the end of the Saturday practice this weekend (6/11 4:00pm). This is an opportunity to meet each other in person and ask any questions you may have about the dive program. I can talk about meet preparation and expectations.

Please note there are 2 remaining sessions to train Dive Referees. We have 3 home meets and we need a Referee at all of them. If we cannot provide one, we have to ask the other pool to provide one -- which can be tricky. If we cannot get a Ref, the meet will not be counted or will be canceled. Refs need to take the NVSL training to be certified and re-training is required after 2 years. Any adult family member can be a Referee, the requirement is that the person has judged at least one meet. If you haven't judged but are interested in the Ref training, you can still attend the Ref training but cannot be a certified Ref until after you have judged once. (So you could train, Judge, and then Ref -- in that order.)

The Referee training sessions are tonight at 6:30 pm at Truro and Sunday, June 12 at 2:00 pm at Chesterbrook. Please let me know if you can attend either session.
